    This class will consist of grounding and calming sequences of asana and pranayama that have an intentional effect on the signalling of the nervous system. This is not a new type of yoga, but a celebration and practice of classical Hatha Yoga practices using a contemporary approach, with science and tradition as our sourcebook.

    Mantras for intentional living, clarity and grounding to start and end the day (Sun & Moon). We’ll recite traditional Sanskrit mantras with focus on correct pronunciation, their meaning, philosophy and the connections with different deities/energies.

    Understand how the recitation vibrations have the capacity to transform mind, body, and environment, assisting with mental and emotional wellbeing.

    Ayurveda sees the gut as the root of mental well-being. Strong digestion supports clarity and calm; poor digestion builds toxins (ama) that cloud the mind. Disturbances in the gut microbiome are known to impact neurotransmitter levels (like serotonin) and influence mental states.     Essence of the Yogasūtra: Recitation & Philosophy

    This is an exploration of several key sūtras from the yoga sutras where we’ll focus on recitation/pronunciation, word by word meaning and discuss important aspects of philosophy.

  • Equal Ground is Delhi’s first wellness conference built on supporting mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing through traditional Indic knowledge. Its a space to grow a collective of teachers and thought leaders applying classical Indic knowledge to modern day needs through practices, dialogue, and sharing and holding space for growth and healing not in forest retreats but in the chaos of cities.

    From yoga, meditation to mental well-being, Equal Ground bridges ancient wisdom and contemporary living. It’s a platform to pause, learn, and return to balance - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

  • Anyone curious about mind, body, movement and well-being. Equal Ground is open to everyone, from seasoned practitioners and teachers to those simply curious about finding more about how ancient practices like yoga, meditation etc, can support modern living, along with emotional and mental health.

  • Not at all. The sessions are designed for all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the experience is designed for everyone to take back something that can be applied in day-to-day life.

  • Meals and accommodation are not included in the ticket. However, there will be meals available to buy at the venue, and we’ll collaborate with a restaurant or two.
